Black and White Yin Yang Fountain/Rollerball Set $700.00

The Yin Yang symbol has many connotations. In essence, it describes the Chinese philosophical concept of opposing but complementary forces found in all things in the universe. Day/night, male/female, warmth/cold, north/south are all examples. Yin Yang has a basis in the I-Ching, a very prominent part in Chinese philosophy, and also is very significant in Taoism (a Chinese religion). If you set a pole perpendicular to the ground, and record the position of the shadow over the course of a year, you will get the swirl of the Yin Yang. The points are the equinoxes.

Other than the clip, the pens are all acrylic. In staying with the Yin Yang theme, one is a rollerball and one is a fountain pen, in addition to the color scheme. Despite being 6-1/2” long (a touch shorter for the roller ball), the pen is quite light. The 18k Gold Bexley nib is medium, but I can easily change it to fine or broad size at no charge. A standard refill will fit the roller ball, and the fountain is a converter/cartridge fill.
